Flare Partners with "That's What She Said" Magazine at the University of Bristol

We are thrilled to announce a partnership with "That's What She Said" (TWSS) Magazine, a prominent intersectional feminist publication at the University of Bristol. This collaboration marks a significant step in our shared commitment to promoting safety and welfare among students.

With writing and artwork entirely created by University of Bristol students and alumni, TWSS has created a platform that acts as a safe space for the local feminist community. TWSS has also gained recognition nationally - with 3,700 international subscribers, as well as 1000+ within the student body itself.

President of That's What She Said Magazine (TWSS), Susie Long, expresses her enthusiasm about partnering with Flare

Susie Long, President of TWSS, said about the partnership: "We are so excited to be partnering with Flare. As a society and publication focused on the prioritisation of feminist activism and safety, Flare is an initiative that we believe can be life changing to its users and our readers. This partnership enables TWSS to not only promote both women’s and activists’ safety through our creative outlets, but in a practical, hands-on way too."

This partnership marks a significant step to creating more inclusive and safe environment environments. By integrating Flare's safety technology into TWSS's initiatives, we are building a strong platform for advocating inclusivity and safety. This collaboration is focused on practical measures that enhance the university community's efforts towards a safer and more inclusive campus.

This collaboration is a statement of our shared values in advocating for a safer, more inclusive environment. Together, Flare and TWSS aim to empower students, offering peace of mind and a platform for activism.

About That's What She Said (TWSS): That’s What She Said Magazine is a student-led intersectional feminist magazine publishing in both print and online since 2011. We give voices to all students with a feminist, inclusive message, discussing topics ranging from Barbie and Taylor Swift to the human rights crisis in Iran.
